CPR & First Aid

CPR

A hard crash or other serious incident can leave a kiter unresponsive and not breathing normally. In that situation, call emergency services immediately, and be ready to give:

  • exact location and access,
  • what happened and the number of people involved,
  • whether they’re conscious and breathing,
  • any major injuries or bleeding,
  • approximate age, gender, and size/build.

Then begin CPR if needed. CPR can help keep blood and oxygen flowing to the brain and other vital organs until help arrives. If an AED is available, use it as soon as possible and follow its instructions.

Taking a certified CPR course gives you hands-on practice so you know how to respond in an emergency.
